Leadership coaching services

While the terms coaching and mentoring are frequently used interchangeably, there are clear differences in the approach, strategy, and tactics associated with each. Coaching is very much an intellectual process based on assessments, questions, learning, designing, and building. Mentoring is more of a heart exercise – caring, sharing, guiding, and encouraging based on mutual interests and trust relationships. 

At Triad, we frequently combine the best of both relationships because we do care and have a heart for each individual and unique person that each of our clients represent; however, our primary focus is using the proven techniques and processes of formalized coaching to help our clients grow personally and as a team to achieve success and build leadership legacies.

Assessments

In order to provide our best coaching and training, we use two great assessment tools to better understand the individuals on your team and also the interactions within the team.

The Maxwell DISC Assessment takes into account that everyone you encounter is motivated differently, communicates differently, and views tasks and relationships differently. The DISC profile assessment helps you understand yourself and how to best interact with others on your team for optimal effectiveness and a winning team experience.

The Maxwell Leadership Game is a fun way to help facilitates team communications and trust and identifies team strengths and relationships. At the same time, the game uncovers areas of possible weakness / mis-trust in the team and links coaching / training solutions to enhance team performance.


Leadership training

Triad Leadership Group provides a broad range of leadership training for executives, managers and their in-place leadership teams based on the timeless principles of John Maxwell and other respected authors. Companies that choose to develop their leaders can positively influence everyone in the organization which creates a cultural shift that leads to more engaged employees, improved ROI, and increased revenue and profits. 

When needed, we help executives perform a complete and detailed assessment of themselves and their leadership teams using DISC and the Leadership Game. All our training work is supported by individual and group coaching services. We seek to implement the principles and practices taught in team and workshop settings—with an in-the-trenches perspective. 

Our training programs are interactive sessions, which link learning and doing. Whether first-time supervisors or experienced managers, our focus is to help those team members with self-awareness that will lead to better understanding and behavioral shifts. Clarity of personal and business goals and desires lead to more effective outcomes and engagement.

15 Invaluable Laws of Growth
In Maxwell’s most famous book, 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership is the “Law of the Lid,” which focuses on the fact that an organization cannot grow any bigger/better than its individual leaders—so if we can grow individual leaders, then we can grow the organizations. 
    
Everyone Communicates but Few Connect
Only one thing stands between you and success—it’s not experiences, it’s not talent—it’s learning how to effectively connect with people. Once effectively connected, then we can become a person of influence with family, community and within organizations and larger business circles.
   
Becoming a Person of Influence
Maxwell’s foundational premise is “influence is leadership/leadership is influence.” Influence doesn’t come instantly; it grows in stages. Everyone has influence, either positive or negative. Obviously we want to reduce our negative influence and enhance our positive influence. By effectively connecting and then positively influencing we will be adding value, making a difference, and helping others achieve business success and build leadership legacies. 
       
Developing the Leaders Around You
Deals with reproduction—becoming not a leader of followers but being a leader of leaders who then become a leader of leaders—dramatically impacting sustained successful business outcomes. Our proprietary methodology is based on John Maxwell’s book “The Five Levels of Leadership.” Our true influence is not based on our position but rather moving to the pinnacle fifth level of leadership where people follow you because of who you are.

Our on-site workshop process puts you and your team in the driver’s seat. We will conduct a pre-workshop call or meeting to outline your goals and needs, which is our number one objective.
